Schedule of the Li Galli and Positano boat tour from Amalfi:
- Meet the skipper at 11:15am at the Amalfi Port and board on a typical “gozzo sorrentino”.
- Sail along the Amalfi Coast to reach Positano. On the way there you will discover breath-taking views, framed by cliffs overhanging the sea and crystal clear waters. Your skipper will find the perfect spot for you to swim and snorkel, guiding you among the many inlets that make the Amalfi Coast a hidden treasure.
- Once in Positano, you will have about 1/1.5h free time to explore this picturesque location: browse around the many small shops filled with traditional crafts or simply have a walk around its colourful cobbled streets. You can not miss the beautiful Church of Santa Maria Assunta and its iconic dome covered with majolica tiles. Explore the building’s interiors if you want to learn about the legend of the painting of the town’s patron Madonna Nera, preserved inside the church.
- Depart from Positano to reach Li Galli, a small archipelago formed by three main islands: Gallo Lungo, La Rotonda and Dei Briganti. This location is described by many ancient legends as an enchanted place inhabited by mermaids able to bewitch sailors with the beautiful melody of their songs. Dive in and see up close the marvellous beauty of this natural reserve while snorkelling and swimming in its limpid waters.
- The tour will end around 3pm, when you will return to the Amalfi Port.
