Introduction and Context

You Know! was founded in 2011 in Sorrento to offer boat experiences for small groups. Over the years, it has established itself as a market leader thanks to a model based on authenticity, quality, reduction of overtourism and respect for the sea. The year 2024 marks a fundamental step: the company begins the process of becoming a Benefit Corporation, integrating into its bylaws objectives of common benefit and environmental and social responsibility.

The FY2024 Impact Report is the first official publication that documents this path. It is prepared in line with GRI standards, the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), GSTC criteria for sustainable tourism and the B Impact Assessment.

Identity, Purpose and Vision

Purpose: the sea is our essence. We create unforgettable onboard experiences, reducing environmental impact and enhancing local communities.
Vision: to become the global benchmark for small-group boat tours, combining luxury, authenticity, attention to detail and sustainability.

Distinctive elements:

excursions with small groups and dedicated customer care;
promotion of lesser-known destinations to reduce overcrowding;
fleet in energy transition (hybrid and electric);
training and development of human capital.

Governance and Benefit Model

Official transformation into a Benefit Corporation from 2025, with the obligation to publish the Impact Report every year.
Appointment of the Impact Manager, who measures and monitors progress.
Implementation of Organizational Model 231/01, code of ethics, anti-corruption procedures and data protection system (ISO 27001).
Commitment to transparency and accountability towards stakeholders, customers, employees and communities.

50% reduction of the carbon footprint compared to 2020; 90% use of compostable materials; new partnerships and scientific collaborations.
