Program of the Barcelona sailing cruise:
- Meet 15 minutes before the departure time, at the at berth n° 1416, Port Olímpic, Moll de la Marina, 10, 08005 Barcelona.
- Upon boarding, the skipper will provide you with all the necessary safety information. The prominent ‘Twin Towers’ of Barcelona, the Mapfre Tower and the Hotel Arts, the city’s tallest skyscrapers, will immediately catch your eye. At their base lies “El Peix Daurat”, a fish-shaped steel artwork created for the 1992 Olympic Games, now a symbol of Barcelona.
The itinerary of the sailing trip in Barcelona is tailored according to sea and weather conditions. The captain, working with the day’s conditions, will decide the best route, combining together some or more of the following destinations:
- Platja de la Barceloneta, a long stretch of golden sand bathed by the waters of the Mediterranean. A favorite for sports, swimming, windsurfing, and enjoying a drink with a sea view at surrounding bars and restaurants.
- Platja de Sant Miquel, one of the city’s oldest beaches, named after the Sant Miquel del Port church. Despite its small size, it is a popular spot, home to the “Estel ferit”, a sculpture by the artist Rebecca Horn, known worldwide for her contemporary artwork.
- While navigating Barcelona’s skyline, with a bit of luck, you might spot local marine life like dolphins, turtles, and the Moonfish (Mola Mola). In addition, you will be able to relax and enjoy a light aperitif provided by our attentive crew.
- Weather permitting, the skipper will anchor at an ideal spot for a refreshing swim in the crystal-clear Mediterranean waters.
- The tour ends after approximately 2 hours, returning to Port Olímpic.
