Tenerife whale and dolphin watching with a marine biologist – Educational experience

Embark on an extraordinary adventure alongside a group of marine biologists and researchers and join the observation and field study of marine life in the Canary Islands. From the port of Las Galletas, we will head to the Teno-Rasca Special Conservation Area. Here, you will have the incredible opportunity to observe, understand and listen to these incredible marine creatures, also thanks to the use of the underwater hydrophone and the explanations of a qualified professional, to live a wider experience of observation and understanding of the ecosystem. All in a pleasant and exclusive atmosphere, with a maximum of 10 guests on board.

Program of the Tenerife whale and dolphin watching from Las Galletas:

• Meet at the departure point at gate n°4 of Marina del Sur in Las Galleta. Here you will meet the crew of marine biologists and researchers, who will guide you during the experience of observation and study of cetaceans.
• After a quick safety briefing, you will set sail towards one of the best places for dolphin and whale watching, the Teno-Rasca Marine Strip, part of Tenerife’s official Special Conservation Zone, established to ensure the long-term survival of the most vulnerable animals and natural habitats. Magnificent creatures like the Pilot Whale and Bottlenose Dolphin live in these waters all year-round and, because of this, the chances of sightings are extremely high. Join the researchers and the biologists, collecting data, observing but also listening to the sounds of these incredible animals, thanks to the use of the hydrophone, an underwater microphone. Thanks to the commentary and explanations of a qualified professionals, You will understand and learn a lot about the behavior of whales and dolphins and the marine ecosystem of the Canary Islands.
• At the end of the boat trip, after about 2.5 hours, you will return to the port.
