Set off on our boat tour from Giardini Naxos to discover the wonders along the coast of Taormina, places that can be reached only by sea. Thanks to the experience of the captain on board, along the way you will explore the most beautiful bays and caves. In between dives, discover the most beautiful spots along the Naxos coast and Taormina’s Isola Bella, the little green oasis in the middle of the crystal clear sea, separated by a tongue of beach that appears and disappears depending on the tides. Breathe in the true essence of Sicily with a refreshing aperitif of local white wine and fresh fruit.
Program of the boat trip to Taormina and Isola Bella:
- Meet 15 minutes before the departure time at the Giardini Naxos Marina in Via Schisò, 3, 98035 Giardini-Naxos ME. Here you will meet the crew and board a comfortable boat.
- The boat tour begins with navigation to the beach of Giardini Naxos, where you can dive in, enjoy a refreshing swim, and discover the seabed of this corner of paradise.
- The second stop of the tour is the Lovers’ Cave, a natural marvel carved into the rock, located near Capo Taormina. Also known as the Cave of Lovers and surprising for its heart-shaped formation, it opens onto one of the most romantic views of the Taormina coast.
- Continuing the navigation, we will arrive at Isola Bella, the symbol of Taormina. Surrounded by lush vegetation, this small unspoiled oasis offers a stunning setting. Here we’ll drop anchor for an unforgettable swim stop: you can explore the crystal-clear waters, home to a surprising variety of colorful fish, or relax on board, rocked by the waves.
- The next stop is Taormina’s Blue Grotto, about 200 meters from Isola Bella beach. Although modest in size, once inside you’ll be enchanted by the light filtering through the entrance, giving the water hues ranging from turquoise to emerald, illuminating the seabed that reaches 18 meters.
- After admiring the Blue Grotto, we will return to Isola Bella. Once docked, you will have about 2 hours of free time to visit the island, relax on the beach or have lunch at one of the local restaurants, enjoying the typical specialties of Sicilian cuisine.
- Once we depart again, we’ll head toward Mazzarò, an ancient fishing village a few kilometers from Taormina. Known worldwide for its wild beauty, it remains one of the most beloved tourist destinations in Sicily.
- As a final stop, we’ll have a break at the quiet Bay of the Sirens. Surrounded by an aura of mystery and legend, it is said that sirens once lured sailors here with their enchanting songs. It is the perfect place for one last swim or to relax before returning.
- The tour ends with the return to the port of Giardini Naxos.
