Experience the magic of Santorini from the sea with a 5-hour boat tour aboard a luxurious catamaran with only 20 guests. Discover the places that enchant millions of visitors every year and that make Santorini the undisputed star of the Aegean islands: the White Beach, the Red Beach and the famous Hot Springs. Swim in the crystal-clear waters and places accessible only by boat and enjoy a great lunch of typical Greek delicacies offered on board.
Program of the Santorini boat trip with lunch:
Pick-up from you hotel in Santorini and transfer to Ammoudi bay, where you will board the Lagoon 520, a luxurious double-decker catamaran with expert captain and crew.
The cruise will take you through the Caldera, one of the spectacles of the Mediterranean Sea, with the midnight blue waters, the sheer lava cliffs layered in multi colored rock and that picture perfect sight of sparklingly white cubic houses and azure-domed churches.
The first stop will be at Hot Springs, close to the volcano, on the northeast side of Palea Kameni, famous for the warm springs that come from the bottom of the sea. Here you will have approximately 30 minutes to swim and take advantage of this unique natural spa.
After a healing mud bath we will sail towards Aspronisi; the ancient settlement of Akrotiri with the old Venetian Lighthouse, and, once arrived at the southern tip of the island you will admire the Indian Rock, a distinctive rock formation that recalls the profile of an Indian.
The second stop will be at the shimmering White Beach, a place only accessible by boat with the crystal clear blue waters and the rich underwater environment and reefs. Here, while you swim and snorkel, the crew will prepare for you a delicious lunch featuring traditional dishes and Greek appetizers, accompanied with wine, beer and soft drinks.
The last stop will be at the famous Red Beach, one of the most dramatic and most beautiful beaches in Santorini; and the reason for its popularity is its color. You only need to glance at the precipitous red cliffs and russet shingle, both products of volcanic activity, to understand how the Red Beach got its name. Here you will have 30 minutes to swim and snorkel.
The tour will end in Vlychada port and from there the driver will drop you off at your hotel.
*Hot Springs: It is good to know that catamarans/yachts stop 50m away from the warm sulfuric water of the Hot Springs bay. The temperature in the Hot Springs area is up to 4°C warmer than the open water. Dark color swimwear is recommended.
**All yachts and boats in Greece cannot moor directly on the beach. We have selected the best spots for swimming and snorkeling, the closest possible to the beach.
The price includes: Hotel pick-up and drop-off – English speaking crew – Lunch with local dishes – Alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages – Equipment for snorkeling – Towels.
Don’t forget: Valid ID or passport – Sunscreen – Sun hat – Sunglasses – Camera.
Santorini is an extraordinary island overlooking the blue Aegean Sea and famous for its white villages, exceptional sunsets and volcanic bays. If you are wondering what are the best beaches to swim on in Santorini, here is a selection of must-see beaches to visit on your boat tour in Santorini.
Close to the village of Oia lies the small and charming beach of Ammoudi, from where the excursion starts. It has a rocky coast and the seabed offers a beautiful view. If you stay near Oia, your trip to the most beautiful bays of Santorini awaits you.
Among the most famous beaches of Santorini is Red Beach: a beach whose sand is made of volcanic lava that characterises its color. The bay is undoubtedly spectacular with the red coast diving into the emerald sea. Snorkeling here is ideal thanks to its magnificent backdrop.
From the red of Red Beach to the white of White Beach is a moment, indeed, a few minutes away. White Beach, as the name says, is a white treasure chest between the shores of Santorini. The walls here are pure and white and the sand, with a dark base, is mixed with large white pebbles that contribute to the typical beauty of this place.
The beach of Mesa Pigadia is still among the least known and therefore among the wildest on the island. Mesa Pigadia is located in the southernmost tip of Santorini, where the sea is particularly clear and the sand is covered by large dark pebbles. Like all the wildest beaches, Mesa Pigadia is not easily accessible except by sea with a boat tour in Santorini. The beach is located a short distance from the village of Akrotiri and Indian Rock, the mountain south of Santorini that resembles the profile of an Indian.
Vlychada is a particularly calm beach south of the island of Santorini, away from the tourist chaos and enjoying an almost lunar charm. The sand, mixed with pumice stones, has a grey colour that meets the blue of the sea and the rocky walls of the coast are shaped by the wind to create original grooves and very suggestive recesses.
If you are in Santorini and you want to know how to get to Red Beach and White Beach, we tell you right now that is not very practical to do it on your own. To reach the Red Beach, in fact, the footpath that connects it to the car park is rather impassable; while White Beach can only be reached from the sea. Opt for the boat trip to Santorini aboard the catamaran that will allow you to visit both White Beach and Red Beach, among the famous beaches of the whole island in an easier way but, above all, enjoying a spectacular view: watching the red Red Beach and the white White Beach from the sea before landing on their coasts beach is a sight not to be missed.
Among the most characteristic places to bathe in Santorini are the Hot Springs: these are coves of sulphurous water located behind the volcano. The water temperature in these natural pools is slightly higher than the open sea (about 4°C higher) and the colour of the water is an intense orange, given by the substances present near the volcano such as iron. For this reason, avoid light-coloured costumes or costumes that you particularly care about that could absorb the strong colouring of these waters. Hot Springs are natural springs with excellent benefits, absolutely to try.
Santorini today is the result of a catastrophic volcanic eruption that occurred more than three thousand years ago. At that moment the central part of the large island sank to its center and was covered by the sea to create a basin: this is the Caldera. Visiting Santorini therefore means choosing a boat trip along the coasts of Caldera, to admire the landscape and the history behind this island. A boat tour along the coasts of Caldera is an exciting journey of shapes and colours, between the blue of the sea, the white of the houses of the small villages and the coloured coasts of the most famous beaches. From Caldera you can admire the villages of Akrotiri and Oia, among the most famous in the whole of Santorini and it is right in the centre of Caldera, then, that there are the Hot Springs, the thermal springs of Santorini, together with the two volcanoes New Kameni and Palea Kameni. The Caldera is the heart of a very ancient Santorini and many people think that the legendary Atlantide rose right here.
The colour of the water is an intense orange, given by the substances present near the volcano such as iron. For this reason, avoid light-coloured costumes or costumes that you particularly care about that could absorb the strong colouring of these waters.

We decided to make a boat tour while in Santorini and choose this 5 hour tour on a catamaran. I cannot even explain you how beautiful it has been! I saw awesome places and swam in such clear waters. The staff made several stops and we had time to take pictures, swim, snorkel and relax as well. Best day in a long time!

One of my favourite tours ever! It was incredibly beautiful on board, very clean (very important for Covid) and enough space for everyone to sit and enjoy the landscape from the sea. Several stops to swim and snorkel. Great lunch, delicious food. Recommended
