Although the island is called Mallorca, the name of the capital Palma de Mallorca is often confused with that of the entire island. It is one of the most sought-after destinations of the Balearic Islands along with the island of Formentera.
Here are the most beautiful spots to admire the sunset in Mallorca. To enjoy the sunset in Mallorca, which in summer is around 9 PM, go to the serra de tramuntana area: Sa Foradada and Cap de Formentor are very popular at this time of the evening, so make sure to arrive early to admire the sunset. For a less crowded place to watch the sunset, try the Mirador de Els Colomer located in the northwest part of the island of Mallorca or the Mirador de las Islas Malgrats in Santa Ponsa or La Trapa: you might need to walk quite a bit, but it’s worth it. If you don’t have a car and you are staying in Palma de Mallorca, you can also see incredible sunset views here: the Castell de Bellver, thanks to its privileged position, or the panoramic terrace of the cathedral are some of the places where you can admire a wonderful sunset in Palma de Mallorca. We recommend a sunset boat tour in Palma de Mallorca: it will be an indescribable emotion to experience the changing hues from the catamaran, rocked by the sea with the full panorama of Palma Bay as the backdrop.
Not everyone gets to enjoy a magnificentsunset aboard a catamaran, savoring local tapas and slowly watching all the colors of the sky and sea change as the time of the sunset approaches. With this boat tour, we will take you to the south of the Bay of Palma towards Cueva Verde. Here you can dive for a swim before the sunset and enjoy delicious tapas, wine, and a tasty dessert before admiring the best show: the sun slipping towards the sea with its intense red color. Watching the coast of Palma de Mallorca from here at sunset is an experience to tell about.
Sunset means aperitif. Whether it’s a beer on the beach or tasty tapas with wine aboard a catamaran, you can’t experience the sunset without celebrating. If you want to enjoy the sunset with local tapas and excellent wine, you can choose this boat tour: you won’t have to worry about anything, you will live a wonderful experience in contact with nature and immersed in beauty. Otherwise, you can opt for one of the many chiringuitos or beach clubs near the beaches that offer a bar for a cocktail and sometimes also something to eat.
