Tour program of the Pakleni islands boat trip:
Meeting point in Hvar at Jurja Matijevića 20; here you will meet your skipper and board a comfortable sailing boat with a small group only 8 guests.
We set sail for the Pakleni islands and during the day, we will make several stops for swimming and snorkeling in the most beautiful bays and lagoons, always depending on the sea and weather conditions, and we will stop for lunch at one of the restaurants on Pakleni Islands.
Possible stops are:
Jerolim island, whose beach Kordovon has been named by Huffington Post as one of the top secret beaches in Europe, as well as CNN’s top naturist beach in the world. Kordovon beach is one of the most chilled places in Dalmatia and a combination of FKK, sun, sea and relax, where everything is organic, and almost anything goes.
Then, we continue for the nearby island of Marinkovac, stopping at the idyllic cove of Zdrilca: pristine water, pebble beaches, Dalmatian slow life typified by the excellent restaurant on the beach.
The next stop will be Palmižana bay. Located on Sveti Klement island, the largest of Pakleni islands, Palmižana bay is the favourite getaway for Hvar islanders. Here, azure waves lick a sandy cove surrounded by pine forests, heather fields and breezes scented by aromatic herbs. Scuba divers love Palmižana due to its vibrant underwater life.
Not far from Palmižana is the small fishing village of Vlaka on the northern shores of Sveti Klement. Home to vineyards, the remains of a Roman spa, and magical mud used by locals to heal their skin, Vlaka is the go-to for those looking to escape the busy crowds and blistering heat of Hvar town to instead relax in the quiet of a glistening bay.
We will start sailing back to Hvar town where the tour will end.

The Pakleni islands (or Spalmadori islands in Italian) are a real natural paradise. It is a group of twenty islands with a total area of about 7 square kilometres and located opposite Hvar. The name “pakleni” comes from the word “paklini”, a pine resin that was used in shipbuilding. The Spalmadori islands are playfully distributed in the Hvar archipelago and are all wooded, some of them untouched and completely uninhabited. For this reason, the Spalmadori or Pakleni islands are a destination for lovers of the completely natural landscape who enjoy swimming and snorkelling and discovering secluded bays. The island of Jerolim is a small but charming islet of the Spalmadori islands. This island is a traditional naturist place on Hvar. On Jerolim’s beaches you will find peace and relaxation and places equipped with showers: to the south you will see the pebble beach, while on the other side you will see white stones descending into the blue sea. Among the Spalmadori islands, the island of Marinkovac with its idyllic bay of Zdrilca must be particularly prominent. We are not far from Hvar and in Zdrilca the water is transparent and the beach is really very picturesque. Certainly Zdrilca, on the island of Marinkovac, is one of the beaches where you can take a swim during the boat tour to the Spalmadori islands.
One of the most famous destinations of all Spalmadori (or Pakleni islands) is certainly the bay of Palmižana. Because of this characteristic, the Palmižana bay is one of the most touristy, but not the least peaceful. In fact, until the last century, there was still no electricity here. Lie in the shade of the pine trees that cover this island and swim in its crystal clear sea. Also here a part of the island is naturist, like many other beaches in Croatia. If you want to explore the island of Palmižana, you will find many nature trails to see in this little corner of paradise.
Among the tourist attractions of Hvar is undoubtedly the Vlaka Bay which is located on the island of St. Clement in the Spalmadori Islands. This bay is full of restaurants, but that’s not all. Walking around the island you can admire a 14th century church dedicated to St.Clement, every year, on the last Sunday of July, on this island its protector is celebrated with a traditional festival. There are also both Illyrian and Roman settlements on the island, which are called Soline.
The sailing tour to the Pakleni Islands takes about 6 hours. You will have enough time to swim, sunbathe and snorkel in the most beautiful bays of the Spalmadori Islands and have lunch in one of the many restaurants in thus delightful archipelago.

Pakleni islands boat tour from Hvar – Sailing Experience
At first I was a bit skeptical because I am not fond of boat trips but once I got on board I felt immediately at ease and the skipper gave me a lot of confidence: prepared and professional! Thank you very much.

The boat tour with our family was great. We made several stops between the islands to swim and explore the coves along the coast (the snorkeling equipment on board is very useful). From the sea to the beaches to the lunch break at the restaurant...nothing was really missing. I recommend it.

Everything was perfect from start to finish! My friends and I departed from the port of Hvar on a wonderful sailboat equipped with every comfort to discover the beauty of the Pakleni Islands. We made several stops for swimming and snorkeling in the crystal clear waters and finally we enjoyed a great lunch in a typical restaurant in the area! Very prepared and fun crew! Thanks to all.
