It’s common to confuse the name of the capitalPalma de Mallorca with that of the entire island, which is Mallorca. It is one of the most popular destinations in the Balearic Islands, along with the island of Formentera.
If you want to know what to visit in Mallorca in just a few days, don’t forget to choose at least one boat tour to experience the island’s beauty from a better and stress-free perspective. Starting from the capital, Palma de Mallorca, we recommend the postcard-perfect Cathedral of Santa Maria or Seu de Mallorca. It is the main building in the city of Mallorca, scenically spread along a waterway. Not far away is the Royal Palace of Almudaina, the official residence of the King of Spain during his stay in Palma de Mallorca.
If you want a new viewpoint over the Bay of Palma, climb to Bellver Castle (literally "beautiful view" in Catalan) and enjoy the beauty of this circular fortress in Majorcan Gothic style that will reward you with an unmatched view.
If you love stepping into the past and have time to explore the island’s interior, the adventure aboard the historic wooden train to the town of Soller could be perfect for you. In any case, don’t forget to visit Mallorca’s beaches and coves: here the water is turquoise and the coastal landscape is well worth the journey.
Mallorca is a magnificent destination also thanks to its crystal-clear sea and its wonderful coves and beaches. With this boat tour, you can swim in turquoise and transparent waters and relax on secluded beaches, even in high season.
Among the most exclusive beaches, we recommend Cala Blava, with clear waters and white sand. Its gently sloping sandy seabed makes it an ideal place for swimming and relaxing.
Cala Vella is also a must-visit beach in Mallorca. Cala Vella is one of the island’s most famous spots and, thanks to its shape, it’s sheltered from the wind, its waters are always calm. Not everyone can say they’ve taken a dip at Cova Verda: this is a small, picturesque cave with stunning colors. Swimming and snorkeling here is a wonderful experience.
Mallorca is an island that offers everything: landscapes, culture, and fun. With over 3,500 square kilometers, it can be challenging to explore entirely if you only have a few days. Choosing a boat tour, especially in high season, is a smart way to reach the island’s best and most unspoiled beaches and coves in just a few days, without stress or crowds. Our boat tours are reserved for a small number of passengers and are always organized by experienced local staff. Getting around by boat also means capturing exclusive and unforgettable photos.
Palma de Mallorca is easily accessible from all over Europe thanks to the capital’s airport, and from nearby islands and countries by sea via its port, which can also accommodate cruise ships.
If you want to dive into Majorcan cuisine and discover what typical dishes to eat in Mallorca, take note of these specialties. The pa amb oli (bread with olive oil), served with cheeses and cold cuts (such as sobrasada), is a must to whet your appetite before lunch or dinner. If you love street food, you might never stop eating empanadas, cocarroi de verdura (vegetable turnovers), or coca de trampó (a kind of vegetable flatbread).
For those who like to be surprised, there’s the variat: a dish that brings together a mix of the day’s typical recipes. It’s a true symbol of Mallorca, just like the ensaimada (a traditional sweet pastry shaped in a spiral).
The sailing excursion in Mallorca includes a professional skipper, a light lunch on board with both non-alcoholic and alcoholic drinks, and snorkeling equipment.
Yes, the excursion in Mallorca includes several stops in spectacular bays where you can relax, swim, snorkel, or paddle surf, as well as a longer stop for a light lunch on board.
The sailing experience lasts about 4 hours, during which you’ll enjoy total relaxation in the island’s beautiful coves, swim, and savor a light lunch on board.
