Once an oasis for hippies like Bob Dylan and Jimi Hendrix, Formentera is now a luxury destination, perfect for those who are looking to escape the glitz and intense nightlife of Ibiza. Think whitewashed beaches, aquamarine water, bohemian markets and some of the best food in the area. Get on board a sailing boat to see the island from a different perspective: with the Formentera boat trip from Ibiza, you will discover some of the most beautiful beaches of the island, such as the Playa Ses Illetes and the small sandy island of Espalmador, you will stop to swim, snorkel or SUP, and relax with snacks and cold drinks offered on board.
Program of the sailing trip to Formentera from Ibiza:
- Meeting point at 10:15 am at the departure point in Cala Jondal. Here you will meet the skipper and board a sailing boat, with a small group of maximum 6 passengers and an experienced skipper.
- The navigation from Ibiza to the island of Formentera takes about 1 hour and 30 minutes by sailboat. The first stop will be the island of Espalmador: white sandy beaches, transparent sea and picturesque views make this uninhabited island, which is only 3 km long, a true unspoilt paradise where the construction of any tourist facilities is even prohibited. Once here, you can dive in the crystal-clear waters of the bay, go snorkelling and paddle boarding; or you can reach the beach with the small dinghy and explore it on foot.
- We will then continue to the island of Formentera and the beach of Ses Illetes. You’ve seen the photos and heard everyone raving about it, now it’s time to experience paradise for yourself. Playa Ses Illettes is the beach par excellence where you will see Formentera’s crystal clear waters and ivory sands. Here, too, we will stop to swim, snorkel, and SUP. For lunch, you are welcome to bring your own food on board or you can decide to have lunch at one of the restaurants on the beach.
- At the end of the boat trip, around 6.30pm, you will return to Cala Jondal.
