Itinerary – Boat Tour from Trapani to Favignana and Levanzo:
Meeting point is at 9:45AM at the Port of Trapani, at Viale Regina Elena, 91100 Trapani (TP), in front of the Harbor Master’s Office. After boarding, the boat sets sail toward Favignana, the queen of the Egadi Islands, gliding over a sea that changes color with every mile.
Once on the island, the most exciting part of the day begins: several stops for swimming and snorkeling in some of the most iconic and spectacular coves in Sicily. Cala Rossa, with its dramatic tuff cliffs and incredibly clear waters; Bue Marino, wild and captivating; and Cala Azzurra, famous for its Caribbean-like shades, offer the perfect setting to dive in, relax, and be enchanted by the unspoiled beauty of the Mediterranean.
The final sea stop around Favignana is the Grotta degli Innamorati (Lovers’ Cave), one of the island’s most evocative spots. Two rocky outcrops seem to lean toward each other in an embrace, sheltering a small hidden beach inside: an intimate and peaceful corner that creates a truly special atmosphere.
A stop of about two hours at the port of Favignana is then scheduled, ideal for strolling through the historic center, exploring the island at your own pace, or enjoying lunch at one of the local restaurants.
Back on board, the tour continues toward Levanzo, the smallest and most authentic island of the archipelago. Here, the sea takes center stage once again, with new opportunities to swim and snorkel in the crystal-clear waters of Cala Fredda, Cala Minnola, and Cala Calcara—quiet, less crowded bays, perfect for embracing the slow rhythm of the sea.
In the late afternoon, the boat heads back toward Trapani, with arrival at the port around 6:00 pm, carrying home unforgettable images, colors, and emotions.

A characteristic bay located in the middle of old tuff quarries. Its uniqueness is given by the color of the sea: the dark blue water is contrasted by beautiful patches of turquoise water.
Of the most beautiful beaches of Levanzo, our boat tour will show you three of them:
Cala Fredda
Cala Fredda is one of the most beautiful beaches of all Egadi islands. It is located in the southern area of the island. Its small beach is composed of clear sand and gravel and the crystal clear waters host a rich and varied marine flora and fauna.
Cala Minnola
Cala Minnola is located on the south-eastern side of the island and is surrounded by a beautiful pine forest. For diving enthusiasts, about 30 meters deep from Cala Minnola it is possible to admire several archaeological remains dating back to the Greek-Roman era. Cala Minnola is the wildest cove of the island of Levanzo.
Cala Calcara
Cala Calcara is characterized by rocky coast and by the beauty of its underwater landscapes. Have a dive and you will notice the rich flora and fauna that reigns on this island. It is located on the eastern side of Levanzo and takes its name from its characteristic limestone cliffs. It is a perfect place for snorkeling and diving: in fact, a few meters away from the coast, you will see colonies of beautiful sea fans, in particular yellow and red ones, and many white octopus.
Egadi Islands are not famous for having very large beaches, instead what they are famous for, are the amazing coves that seem suspended on a deep blue, the many stacks and pristine islets that will leave you breathless during the boat tour. In particular, while the beaches of Favignana are mostly sandy, the beaches of Levanzo are characterized for being more wild and jagged, ideal to enjoy places and landscapes that still look virgin and unspoiled. The most beautiful beaches of the island of Levanzo are located within the following coves: Cala Minnola, Cala Calcara and Cala Fredda, certainly among the most beautiful bays if you want to have a swim in Levanzo. These coves are a bit difficult to walk to because of the rocky coastline and the fact that they are far from the center of the island; also, there are no refreshment points along the way, but they are extraordinary if explored by sea to fully enjoy the views, the vibrant wildlife and the crystal clear sea of the area.
If you are in Trapani and want to reach Levanzo and Favignana you can choose between two very different options: you can reach the two islands by hydrofoil or by ferry and then plan at least 3 boat trips to hop from one island to the next; or you can leave from Trapani and, with only one tour always on the same boat, you will reach and tour around the islands of Levanzo and Favignana. Choosing the boat tour to Levanzo and Favignana from Trapani you can dive into the most beautiful coves in complete relaxation, snorkel and admire the true beauty of the Egadi islands. While making your choice take into account that the ferries and the hydrofoils to the Egadi islands may be very crowded, especially during high season.
The island of Levanzo is about 2.2 miles away from Favignana, which is about 10 minutes by boat, while it is about 6.5 miles away from Trapani, that is approximately a 30 minutes boat ride. Levanzo is probably the least crowded of the Egadi islands, but its landscape made of stacks, rocks and beautiful coves, is really worth it. Its size, with an area of 10 sq km, makes it perfect for a boat tour.
Yes you will have some free time to swim and snorkel during the boat tour. The skipper will decide the best and most comfortable stops for you thanks to his experience.
Yes, in case of bad weather/sea conditions the tour might be cancelled. In case of cancellation we are happy to offer our customers the choice of an alternative date or, in case of inability to rebook, the full refund.
