Program of the Elaphite islands and Blue Cave boat tour:
Meeting point at 9:45am in Dubrovnik at Gruž Marina; here you will meet your skipper and board a comfortable boat with a small group only 12 guests.
We set sail for the Elaphite islands and our first stop is the southernmost inhabited island in Croatia, Koločep, locally known as Kalamota. It is the first of three large Elaphite Islands, and the closest to Dubrovnik. Locals live by the motto “No cars and no rush”, as you will notice the minute we arrive. We will visit one of the Koločep’s landmarks, the Blue Cave, which can only be accessed by swimming. Complimentary snorkeling equipment is at your disposal.
Our next destination is Lopud island, famous for one of the best sandy beaches in the Dubrovnik area: Šunj beach. Here, you’ll have the opportunity to fully experience a hot and idle summer day you have been longing for a long time! You can choose to stay on the speed boat and get some tan, have complimentary drinks, or go ashore and explore the island.
The last stop will be Lokrum island, an absolute must-see: marvel at the island’s fascinating caves, swim, snorkel and cliff jump if you are feeling like it.
We will start sailing back to Dubrovnik town where the tour will end around 2:00pm.
*Please keep in mind the route and time schedule can vary depending on the weather and sea conditions.
The price includes: English speaking skipper – Alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages – Equipment for snorkeling.

Located opposite the Dalmatian coast in Croatia, the island of Calamotta (or Calamota) has much to offer for those who like to see crystal clear waters, turquoise sea and dream landscapes. We are just a short distance from Dubrovnik and Calamotta is the perfect place to relax: on this Croatian island, in fact, no cars are allowed but only a myriad of paths connecting the villages with the coast. So if you are wondering what to see in Calamotta, landscape and nature are the right answer. Visiting Calamotta by boat is, therefore, ideal to enjoy in a short time the unique views that this enchanting place offers. Beside the many forest paths in Calamotta you can see sandy beaches and the two small villages of Gornje Celo and Donje Celo, many archaeological sites and as many as 7 pre-romanesque churches, a considerable number considering the size of the island. But surely one of the main attractions of Calamotta is the Blue Cave or Blue Grotto.
In Calamotta there is a beautiful Blue Cave, or Blue Cave (in Croatian Plava Spilja) which is a cave accessible only by swimming, after reaching it by boat. Swimming and snorkelling at the Blue Grotto is a fantastic experience: the intense colour of the water in the cave makes everything spectacular, in fact it is characterised by the play of light between the sun and the sea.
Lopud is the middle island of the Elaphite archipelago, the deer islands according to an old roman nomenclature. Lopud has an asymmetrical shape that resembles that of a butterfly and is famous for being the birthplace of many famous sailors and captains of the Dubrovnik Republic, from here passes the best aristocracy of ancient Dubrovnik. Lopud is even better known for its beaches, which are among the most beautiful in Croatia. If you want to go to Lopud, you can’t miss the beach of Sunj, gathered in a large cove on the island and with its transparent water from the shallow seabed and the immense and cozy sand. On this island you can go down to admire the landscape from the land, explore the remains of a medieval church or the church of Our Lady of Sunj with its precious paintings; or you can choose to sunbathe on the beach or stay on board, enjoying snacks and drinks with a dream view.
Welcome to the set of “The Iron Throne”! The island of Lokrum or Lacroma is full of mystery and carries an ancient legend: according to many, the island was cursed by Benedictine monks when they were expelled from Lokrum by order of Napoleon. Since then, in fact, anyone who claimed possession of the island for his own personal interest has died or fallen into ruin. Today Lokrum is home to a Natural History Museum, a Botanical Garden and a Marine Biology laboratory, but be careful to spend the night on the island, you could be cursed! The particularity of Lokrum or Lacroma is its dense system of underground caves that allow water to emerge in the centre of the island, creating a small natural salt lake, a sort of small Dead Sea of the island. Many caves and coves characterise the island of Lokrum: here you can swim and snorkel in really suggestive caves. The west coast of Lacroma consists of a very high cliff, about forty meters: we do not recommend cliff jumping from here!
